Meineke Care Care Bowl History
The Meineke Car Care Bowl (formerly known the Continental Tire Bowl has quickly become an annual tradition in Charlotte, NC since the inaugural contest in 2002. The game takes place at Bank of America Stadium, home to the NFL's Carolina Panthers. Bank of America Stadium serves as a great host to the game with all the amenities of a modern NFL Stadium including plentiful Suites and Club Level seating. The game currently features the #2 or #3 pick from the Big East vs. The #5 team from the ACC.
Averaging over 60,000 fans and selling out three times, the Meineke Car Care Bowl is an impressive event for both local college football fans as well as the droves of out of town fans flocking to the Queen City every bowl season to watch their teams take part in this great post-season college football spectacle.
